Starting Weight: 272
I started this journey on Monday, April 26, 2010 @ 2:42 am. I know that it is strange that I started at that time, but I was so excited about starting that I was up at that time of morning. So I did the Salt water flush (SWF). About an hour later I ran to the bathroom. The feeling was like a big splash. LOL. Every 15-20 minutes I went to the bathroom totaling 4 times. The rest of the day I sipped on on Lemonade mix (approx 6, 8oz cups) with 16oz water and I forgot to purchase the Herbal Laxative Tea (HLT). I was not hungry at all because I was so full. 

The devil is busy. I had 1,2,3,4,5,6 yes 6 people to ask me about going out to eat. Shocked This was my 1st test from God. I told them check with me in 30 days and we can do something then. 

One of my so called friends went to the grocery store, took a picture of the ice cream isle with nothing but Ben & Jerry ice cream and had the nerve to send it to me twice. Evil or Very Mad I could have came through the cell phone and slapped him. LOL:lol:


Day 1
Weigh in 274??? I gained 2 pounds ???
I jumped on the scale this morning to see if I lost any weight. The scale said 274 pounds. WTF???? WRONG move. I went into a state of panic because I could not understand why this happened to me especially after not eating all day. How in the hell could this be???

My 1st mistake was mixing 2 tbls of salt in 32 oz of water vs. 2tsp. I went to Earth Fare to get some organic lemons and Water. I was surprised Lemons were only .78. Only .10 less than regular lemons. When I say only, please do not get offended. I say that because you normally spend more that that on a meal. They have so many varieties of food. I could have never imagined. I thought I skipped dying and went to heaven for a minute. Laughing
I let the HLT  sit for 5 minutes
I did go to the bathroom by the time I drank half of the tea.
So far, I had 32 oz of MCLemonade and 40 oz of water. Before the day is over, I plan on drinking an additional 16 oz of MC and 32 oz of water.

I do not understand how I gained weigh and I am not eating anything. I am peeing like crazy.

 

DAY 2
Weigh in: 266

I am sooooo happy that the water retention came off. I don't know what to do with myself. I feel great today. Tonight I had a slight headache that didn't last that long. Oh well guess I will finish watching Lifetime. 
I am craving health foods like salads and grilled chicken.

Day 3
Weigh in : 264
I read that some people have bad headaches and body aches, but it has not happen to me yet. Ohhh thank you LORD.  These cravings are a trip. I'm not gone tell you what all I have a taste for.

Day 4
Weigh in : 262

Okay now this is soo amazing to see that I am loosing on a average of 2 pounds a day. I hope this does not have any negative affects on my health. I did a ton of research. No one has ever died from the Master Cleanse. Whewwww (wiping my head). This has to be effective. I am seeing my body change my stomach is getting flatter and my rolls are shrinking some too. My parents even said my stomach is going down.

 Today, my parents wanted to do a little shopping. So I took my great lemon drink with me and some bottled water. My mother says, "I'm getting hungry" and my dad says, "me too, let's go to Arbys". They asked would I be able to handle going in with them. I said sure. As they ate I sipped on my lemon mix. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not even want the food. I must confess: the arbys sauce that is in the package. I squeezed 2 pea sized and licked it. It went down like the cayenne pepper and it was good.
 

Day 5
Weigh in: 260

I though to day was going to be rough.I promised my aunt last month, that I would help serve food after church for this event that took place today. When I tell you I did not even think about eating the food at all, when I came home my mom and dad was so amazed that I didn't let the thought of food run across my mind. I weighed myself this morning before church and I am down 2.4 pounds from yesterday. I just really want to make sure I am not putting myself in danger loosing weight so fast. What do you think? I lost 14 pounds in 6 days. I didn't drink that much water and master cleanse today. It's almost like I just didn't want anything at all. 

Day 6
Weigh in: 258


Another extraordinary day except for me not doing the SWF nor LAX. I should be ashamed , but I just didnt feel like it. I will do it tomorrow. No pangs no cravings. I made a video of my body to put on youtube, but I am so ashamed. Maybe I will post when my body look a lot better. ;)


Day 7
Weigh in: 256

Okay, today I did my SWF and no laxative. I am being so bad and I need to cut it out. Instead of doing the SWF the way I used to I decided to kill the taste in 5 oz of water and drink water afterward. Still  no LAX. Many I'm getting lazy.


Day 8
Weigh in: Still 256 Ain't this some crap???


My body is retaining water again. I'm guessing it's coming mainly from the SWF and not drinking HLT. Oh well gotta move on and try again tomorrow. Why was I looking at the show that has the best sandwiches in the US. The top ten was in Atlanta Holemans & Finch Pub downtown. It looked so darn good. 


Day 9
Weigh in: 255
At least it was 1 pound, LOL. Okay I can't believe I made it to day 9 with only a couple of hours to go to Day 10. I don't know what to do with myself. Tomorrow I am going to start exercising. I have to. No excuses!!! Hopefully the scale say I am 3 pounds lighter in the morning. That means 20 pounds in 7 days. Umph, umph, umph. 


As I think about it my cycle should be coming soon. I know that has something to do with my weight as well.


Day 10
Weigh In:  253  19 pounds total lost in 20 days.


OOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! I made it ~ I made it ~ I made it! 
I feel fabulous. Now lets focus on making it the next 25 days  I haven't even finished my 1st LM as of yet. I drunk 1-20oz bottle of water so far. I know I am behind and its 4:12 pm. I am not hungry at all. I think I will take a nap though cause I am bored. I said I was going to wait to do exercises to day, but I already started last night and I had to kinda twerk mine some to help out with these thighs and love handles. I enjoyed creating and doing my own thing and man do I feel the burn, so I know its working for me.

Day 11
Weight in: 253 Im stuck


I still weigh, I did drink 3 10oz of LM. and 80 oz of water. I was thinking about food and its my fault because I was looking at the Kroger and BiLo paper. I was seeing everything I want to buy. Oh well, I know I just can start eating solid food. 


Day 12 
Weigh in: still 253 haha


Ok I was fine all day but honestly I did want to eat something. So guess what I did???? You know it I ate 2 small chunks of Honeydew melon. Ohhhhhh it was sooooo delicious. I could taste all the flavors in it. I normally dont eat fruit after its been cut after a day becuase it makes my throat swell some. Hummm maybe cause its not organic. When I come off the cleanse I will get some organic melons. I did make sure that I thoroughly chewed it up and I didnt swallow it all at 1 time. Right after I ate it, I did consume the HLT. Oh one other thing. I did #2 yesterday and it still was  little solid wastes that came out along with bile. I cant believe stuff still coming out like that since I have not consumed any food in 12 days. Oh well...on the the next day...

Here are some things that will help you out:

  • Never, ever, everrrrrr weight yourself after drinking the SWF and Lemonade mix. It will add 2 pounds to the scale.
  • I mixed 2 tablespoons to the SWF. It only requires 2 teaspoons.That was some tough shit to swallow.
  • Drink LT in the morning OR drink SWF NOT BOTH. In the evening drink LT.
  • You will have craving, but you will not be hungry nor have hunger pangs. Drink Lemonade Mix!!! You will feel better.
Motivation:

  • Tell yourself you can do this! You are not the only person that is on this fast.
  • This is only for a short period of time and you can eat when it is over.
  • Buy an outfit or if you already have one hang it up so you can see it or take a picture so when you are out and you get cravings, you can look at it for motivation.
  • If you live with someone, (ie. roommate, husband, wife, etc.) let them know that you are trying to fast and that you need their motivation to keep going and not to tempt you with food.
  • If you can hang in there past 3-4 days, you will feel good about yourself. I promise you and you will have energy.
